Two Ways to Get Published

Free publication through editorial collaboration
We feature artistic practices, creative ideas and perspectives that contribute to conversations around contemporary art.
Our online art features are currently developed through editorial collaborations and invitations, rather than a regular public open call. We work with artists to share their practices, explore the ideas behind their work and introduce distinctive perspectives to our audience.
We are interested in the stories behind the work, from creative processes and ongoing research to personal experiences and critical reflections.

Independent print publishing | Themed open calls
JustArt Newspaper brings together artists, ideas and creative perspectives through independent print publishing. Each edition is developed around a specific theme, creating space for different artistic practices and interpretations to enter into conversation.
We periodically announce open calls inviting artists and contributors to respond to the theme of each edition. Every call has its own creative direction, submission requirements and deadline.
We welcome submissions that demonstrate originality, thoughtful engagement with the theme and a distinctive artistic perspective.
(There is no fee to submit your work. The £38 fee is only payable if your submission is selected for publication.)
Selected contributors receive:
Publication in JustArt Newspaper — Your selected work will appear in the relevant edition.
Artist Feature — A dedicated feature highlighting you and your artistic practice.
Artist Interview — An interview exploring your ideas, creative process and work.
As an independent publication run by a volunteer team, JustArt Newspaper relies on the £38 publication fee to help cover its basic production and operating costs.
