Often, the art that reaches the public is curated by specific groups or individuals in positions of power. As a result, many emerging artists and niche art forms struggle to gain visibility. These voices represent the unheard segments within the art world. In our collaborations with numerous emerging artists, this phenomenon becomes apparent. They express a pressing need for more inclusive platforms that can help showcase their work.

Mainstream art venues frequently offer limited opportunities for emerging artists, often prioritising established figures due to commercial considerations. This focus on profitability is understandable, as galleries and large art institutions often rely on art sales to sustain their operations. However, we believe there is a significant need to create spaces where new talent can thrive and be recognised.

Through the JustArt Newspaper Club, we aim to provide greater visibility for emerging artists. We specifically seek to highlight regional traditional art forms, recent graduates, and artists in search of resources. By amplifying these often-overlooked voices, we hope to foster a more inclusive and diverse artistic landscape, ensuring that all artists have the opportunity to share their stories and contribute to the cultural dialogue.
