Hiraeth explores the quiet emotional world of loss, longing, and memory. The female figure and the bird symbolize the fragile relationship between humanity and nature, while the landscape reflects an inner emotional state rather than a specific place. The painting does not tell a fixed story but invites viewers to interpret the work through their own memories and emotions. I worked on this painting for nearly two months. By the time it was finished, I realized that I had given form to an inner emotional state that I myself could not fully understand while creating it.
